Equipment Trailers in Medford

These are rated around a machine rather than a volume of cargo, so every conversation starts with a weight and works outward from it.

What we need to know first

The operating weight of the heaviest thing you will load, and whether it drives on under its own power or has to be winched. Those two answers set the axle rating, the deck construction and the ramp type together. Guess at any one and the trailer comes out wrong in all three, which is the single most common reason someone trades an equipment trailer inside two years.

How they are built

Dexter axles with brakes on both, treated commercial-strength wood decks, radial tires and LED lighting throughout. Stand-up ramps store vertically and save yard space; slide-out ramps are easier to position alone. The open design lets you load from either side, which matters on a sloped orchard headland more than it does on a level yard.

Deckover clears the tires and gives a flat surface the full width of the trailer. That is the only configuration where two machines sit genuinely abreast, and it is worth the extra load height if your constraint is width rather than clearance.

Where the load overhangs a standard deck, deckover is the answer - it clears the tires and gives you the full width flat, at the cost of a little load height.

The Rogue Valley factor

Almost every equipment trailer bought here crosses a pass at some point - the Siskiyous south, the Cascades east. In that context brakes on both axles are not an upgrade, they are the specification, and a correctly matched controller at the truck matters as much as anything on the trailer. Bring the tow vehicle if you want the pairing set up properly rather than left on a default.

Sustained descent is also what wears brake shoes and magnets here faster than in flatter markets. They are consumables, replacing them is normal, and catching them at an inspection is far cheaper than catching them after they have scored a drum.

Who runs them locally

Orchard and vineyard operations moving tractors, sprayers and implements between scattered parcels. Construction and land-clearing contractors hauling skid steers and mini-excavators. And a steady number of owners who worked out that moving two machines in one trip beats driving the same route twice.

Browse the equipment inventory, or bring the machine weight and we will match a rating to it rather than guess at one.

Interstate and Carry-On

Both are on the lot. Interstate is exclusive to TrailersPlus at retail and runs the full equipment range including deckover; Carry-On sits alongside on the lighter configurations at a different price and specification. The differences live in deck construction, axle rating and ramp hardware, so they are worth understanding before choosing on price alone.

What to order at the same time

Spare tire and carrier. A tongue box. Extra D-rings or stake pockets set where you actually strap the machine rather than where a generic layout puts them. A winch plate if anything is loading that does not drive on. All of it cheaper specified than retrofitted, and anchor points in particular are never as good added later.

Servicing what you buy

There is a service bay and parts counter at the Medford store, and every new trailer includes two complimentary 40-point safety inspections at 12 and 24 months. On an equipment trailer those cover the things that matter most under load - bearings, brake adjustment on both axles, deck condition, ramp hardware and the frame welds around the tongue.
