Equipment Trailers in Tulsa
Rated around a machine rather than a volume of cargo, which is why the conversation starts with a weight rather than a size.
What we need from you
The operating weight of the heaviest thing you will load, and whether it drives on under its own power or has to be winched. Get either wrong and the trailer comes out wrong in the axle, the deck and the ramps simultaneously.
Sizes
A 6-wide handles compact tractors, stand-on mowers and mini excavators, and is easier to load alone. A 7-wide takes skid steers and paired compact machines. The 8.5-wide, including deckover, exists for loads that overhang everything narrower.
The Catoosa and Pryor corridor
A lot of these go into the industrial corridor northeast of the city, where the loads are heavy, repeated, and moved between fixed sites rather than to changing job sites. For that pattern, deck length and ramp durability matter more than outright rating - the machine is the same every day and the loading happens a dozen times a week.
Build
Dexter axles with brakes on both, treated commercial-strength decks, stand-up or slide-out ramps, radial tires, LED lighting. Deckover clears the tires for a flat full-width surface. Browse equipment inventory, or bring the machine and we will work back from it.
Deck length, not just rating
Rating is what people ask about and deck length is what catches them out. Measure the machine including any attachment you leave fitted - a bucket, forks, a breaker - because that is the real length, and it is frequently a foot or two longer than the spec sheet figure.
Ramps
Stand-up ramps store vertically against the deck and save yard space. Slide-out ramps are lighter to handle and easier to position single-handed. If the machine loads a dozen times a week, order the ramp hardware heavy, because it is operated under full load every single time and it wears accordingly.
Deckover, and when it is right
Deckover clears the tires and gives a flat surface the full width of the trailer. That is the only configuration in which two machines genuinely sit abreast. The trade is load height, so if you are loading something tall or something with low clearance, the standard deck is the better choice.
Brakes and the truck
Brakes on both axles, and a controller set against this trailer rather than left on a factory default. Bring the truck when you collect and we will set it up properly - it takes minutes and a controller left at a default number is the most common reason a loaded rig feels wrong.
Servicing it
Two complimentary 40-point safety inspections come with every new trailer, at 12 and 24 months. On an equipment trailer those focus on what carries load: bearings, brake adjustment on both axles, deck condition, ramp hardware and the frame welds around the tongue.
What to check each season
Deck boards where the tracks or tires bear, ramp hinges and their pins, tie-down points for elongation, and the frame welds at the tongue. Those five things cover most of what goes wrong on an equipment trailer that is otherwise maintained.
Getting a quote
Bring the machine weight, the deck length you need, and the truck. With those three we can price it accurately in one visit rather than three.
