Which is why we developed our Certified Trailer Inspection. This is where we meticulously check every part of your trailer to ensure it's safe and road ready. Our employees are factory trained and certified, so relax, we'll let you know if it's safe for the road. Listed below is what we inspect.

Axles

  • Check axle mounting bracket welds to mainframe
  • Inspect suspension (signs of excess wear, elongation of bolt holes, and loosening of fasteners)

Brakes

  • Test breakaway switch for proper function
  • Check brake wires for bare spots, fray, etc.

Wheel Bearings

  • Check grease in hubs
  • Check for excessive wheel end play
  • Check wheel rotation for restrictions, noise, or "bumpy"

Wheels and Tires

  • Check for proper torque on wheel nuts
  • Inspect wheels for cracks, dents, or distortion
  • Inspect tires for abnormal wear and overall condition
  • Check for proper tire pressure

Wiring

  • Check turn signals, clearance lights, and brake lights
  • Check auxiliary dome lights, loading lights, and switches
  • Inspect trailer plug and harness for loose or damaged wires

Doors and Vents

  • Lubricate and/or grease hinges
  • Check door seals for tears and cracking
  • Check all doors and vents function properly
  • Check door hardware is secure and functions properly (door catches, latches, handles, etc.)

Coupler

  • Inspect welds
  • Grease ball pocket Lubricate pivot points

Safety Chains

  • Inspect welds to trailer tongue
  • Check for damaged chains and hook/clevis functions properly

Jacks

  • Check tongue jack functions properly
  • Lubricate screw stem on top wind jack
  • Check stabilizer jacks function properly

Welds and Metal Fatigue

  • Inspect accessible welds on walls and roof
  • Inspect welds on integrated A-frame Inspect welds on chassis

Exterior

  • Wash trailer
  • Check roof sealant and trim
  • Check all silicone for proper application
  • Check for missing and/or stripped out screws
  • Touch up exposed steel parts (small scratches & rock chips)

Interior

  • Check all factory installed accessories are securely fastened
  • Check for missing screws and ensure properly installed
  • Check trailer for any leaks or potential leaks
  • Inspect all tie downs are securely fastened
  • Check silicone for proper application
  • Check trim for proper installation
  • Check for proper tire pressure
  • Check for proper torque on wheel nuts
  • Inspect wheels for cracks, dents, or distortion Inspect tires for abnormal wear and overall condition
