TrailersPlus Wayland: Opening June 17th!

West Michigan residents will soon have a new direct source for enclosed cargo trailers, dump trailers, equipment haulers, and more. TrailersPlus is opening its newest location in Wayland, serving customers throughout Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and surrounding communities with a full trailer inventory, on-site service, certified inspections, and flexible financing.

Located at 3318 12th St, just off US-131, the new Wayland dealership will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Trailer Inventory at TrailersPlus Wayland

TrailersPlus Wayland will stock trailers built to haul what West Michigan moves—equipment, debris, tools, machines. That will include dump trailers for roofing tear-offs and site cleanup, utility trailers for daily landscaping routes, and deckover haulers made for tracked machines like skid steers and compact tractors. We’ll carry enclosed cargo units for contractors needing secure, lockable storage between jobs, and tilt trailers that make loading wheeled equipment faster without ramps to manage. Every trailer on site will be spec’d with real work in mind—built to handle Michigan roads, changing weather, and the kinds of hauls local crews make every day.

We’ll have enclosed cargo trailers ranging from compact 5x8 units to full-size 8.5x24 tandem axle models—designed for hauls where protection, security, and internal space are critical. A 6x12 trailer will give one-person repair crews room for ladders, fasteners, and tools without wasting space or fuel. Larger options like 8.5x20 and 8.5x24 will be a fit for contractors running multi-phase jobs that require racks, long materials, and portable benches to stay loaded and locked up between sites. These trailers will also suit powersports users looking to tow sleds or side-by-sides through slush and road salt without exposure.

Utility trailers at TrailersPlus Wayland will come in multiple builds—pipe tops, mesh sides, and solid high walls—each matched to the kind of work local crews actually do. These trailers will be used for tracked skid steers, mini excavators, compact tractors, and palletized bulk loads. We’ll also stock gravity and hydraulic tilt trailers in multiple lengths. For forklifts, scissor lifts, or any wheeled machines with low clearance, these tilt decks will eliminate the need for ramps entirely.

Our service center on-site handles routine maintenance and job-critical repairs, whether you bought your trailer here or not. That includes brake replacement, bearing service, suspension work, and electrical troubleshooting for lights, wiring, and brake controllers. Enclosed trailers can be brought in for roof patching, sidewall repairs, or door adjustments. If you need hardware installed—tie-downs, spare mounts, jacks, toolboxes—we’ll take care of that too, using factory parts and proper install practices. Every new trailer includes two free 40-point inspections, scheduled at 12 and 24 months. These inspections check critical systems like axles, tires, suspension, brakes, lights, seals, and couplers—before they become problems.
